Aliso Viejo is a relatively newer city in South Orange County, the city was officially incorporated in 2001 although it was an unicorporated community since 1990.  Aliso is home to more than 40,000 residents, with approx 16,600 households.  According to a 2007 estimate the median income for ALiso Viejo was $92,280.
