Aliso Viejo is a relatively newer city in South Orange County, the city was officially incorporated in 2001 although it was an unincorporated community since 1990.
Aliso Viejo offers a great location within South Orange County, it is located just south of Newport Beach and bordered by Laguna Niguel on the southeast and Laguna Beach on the west. With its location just off the 73 Toll Road, local residents can be in the business and entertainment centers of Newport Beach or Irvine within 10 minutes. The city is close to the beaches of Laguna beach and Newport Beach, both a quick 10-20 minute drive.
Aliso Viejo offers a collection of homes ranging from condos, ideal for first time home buyers to beautiful executive level view homes. Condos in the city tend to range from the Mid $300,000 to high $400,000 range, while homes tend to range from the $500,000 range to well over $1 milllion.

Aliso Viejo is also home to SOKA University of America, a private, non-profit liberal arts college and graduate school located in the southwest portion of the city.
