The City of Huntington Beach, CA is a seaside city in Orange County. It is the largest coastal city in Orange County stretching from the Pacific Ocean to the 405 freeway on the north. As of 2010, the population was 189,992.
Huntington Beach is known as Surf City, USA, this name was a marketing idea to market the beach life style and culture that Huntington Beach offers is residents and visitors. Ultimately there is great deal of truth in name, as the city offers one of the best surf breaks in Southern California and because of this, many of the residents of HB have a passion for surfing. One of the largest surfing events, The US Open takes place every summer in Huntington Beach, with most of the events located in and around the pier.

There are six separate neighborhoods which make up Huntington Harbour, these neighborhoods include Trinidad Island, Humbolt Island, Davenport Island, Admiralty Island and Gilbert Island, as well as the gated community of Coral Cay and Huntington Harbour mainland.
