Mission Viejo is a city located in South Orange County.  Mission Viejo is considered one of the largest master planned communities in the nation.  Being a master planned community, Mission Viejo is a highly sought after community due to its fine housing, excellent recreational facilities, proximity to top employment hubs, well designed roads and excellent schools.  In 2010 the population of Mission Viejo was 93,483.

Mission Viejo is located along the 5 freeway, the cities fine road system allows for easy access to the Southern California freeeway system.  This location along the 5 freeway, south of the major employment hubs of Irvine, Newport Beach and Costa Mesa provides Mission Viejo residents easy access to many of the large national and internation corporations which call Southern California home including Kia Motors, Broadcom, Samsung and Allergan.  The major employers which call Mission Viejo home include Saddle College, Mission Hospital and Unisys.

Mission Viejo is served by two local school districts, Capostrano Unified School District and Saddleback Valley Unified School District.  The two main high schools which werve Mission Viejo are Capostrano Valley High School and Mission Viejo High School.  Trabuco High School is the third High for Mission Viejo residents although many residents also attend the nearby Catholic school, Rancho Santa Margarita High School.
