The City of Newport Beach, CA is located on the central coast of Orange County.  Newport Beach celebrated their centennial birthday in 2006, being originally incorporated in 1906.  As of 2010 Newport Beach had a population of 85,186.  For decades Newport Beach has been a playground for the rich and famous including Hollywood.  Over the years Newport Beach has been home to such Hollywood stars as John Wayne for which the Orange County Airport is named, Humphrey Bogart, and in more recent years Nicholas Cage.  Newport Beach is also home to Donald Bren of the Irvine Company, Bill Gross of PIMCO and Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Newport Beach has always had some of the finest schools in Orange County, it is served be the Newport Mesa Unified School District.  The schools which serve the Newport Beach area include Newport Harbor High School and Corona Del Mar High School.  A new addition as of 2000 is Sage Hill which is a Private college Prep School located in Newport Coast.
