Santa Ana is one of the oldest cities in Orange County, CA.  It was founded in 1869 and currently is the County Seat for Orange County.  As of 2010 Santa Ana is home to almost 325,000 making it one of the most populas cities in Orange County as well.  It is located at the center of Orange County, making it close to every thing Orange County has to offer. 

Santa Ana Real Estate consist primarily of single family homes with only limited Santa Ana condos.  There is also a high number of multifamily homes in Santa Ana with many families living in multi-generational settings.  You can find homes in Santa Ana communities such as Floral Park, French Park and Edna Park, just to name a few.  Some of these Santa Ana Homes are under $400,000. There are a few older condo developments and the revitalization of Downtown Santa Ana has brought some new Santa Ana Condos.  The new condos in downtown Santa Ana includes traditional condos as well as many live-work lofts. 

The City of Santa Ana is served by the Santa Ana High Unified School District.  Santa Ana is also home to Mater Dei High School which is a Catholic School.  One of the largest Community Colleges in Orange County is located in the Santa Ana, which is Santa Ana College.  Santa Ana College is also one of the largest employers in the city.  The County of Orange is the larest employer in the city but there are many other companies which call Santa Ana home.  They inlcude First American Title, the Orange County Register and Wahoo's Fish Taco.

With its Central Orange County location Santa Ana is close to many shopping and entertainment options.  The Downtown Santa Ana area has been offering many new restuarnts and theaters options.  Santa Ana's Main Place mall offers many dining and shopping options, also located just South of Santa Ana is South Coast Metro  which has even more dining and shopping options.
